Luciana Holtz is the Executive Director of the Cancer Guide Institute (Instituto Oncoguia) in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
She joins Joyce and Mike to talk about the work of her institute on all forms of cancer in Brazil. Their work focuses primarily on helping patients navigate the medical world and the healthcare system, both public and private, in Brazil. They have a toll-free patient hotline, and are always glad to talk with patients and their family members to help alleviate their worries and frustrations.
